1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using BlockMyCard.in (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Vertical Infinity Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”, “BlockMyCard”) operates BlockMyCard.in as a service for Indian cardholders to store card details and bank helpline numbers for quick reference during emergencies.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies published on the Site, form the complete agreement between you and BlockMyCard.
2. Service Description & Scope
2.1 What BlockMyCard Does
BlockMyCard is a helper tool only. We:
- Allow you to store your card details (bank name, card type, last 4 digits only)
- Store bank helpline numbers and blocking procedures
- Allow you to add a trusted family contact for emergencies
- Provide a secure login to access your saved details from any phone
- Offer templates and guidance for blocking cards when needed
2.2 What BlockMyCard Does NOT Do
BlockMyCard is not a bank and cannot:
- Block your card directly
- Access or operate your card
- Contact your bank on your behalf
- Guarantee that your bank will process your block request
- Process refunds or chargebacks
- Provide financial advice
Card blocking must always be done by your bank through its official channels (phone, app, website, or branch).
2.3 No Guarantee of Success
We make no guarantee that:
- Your card will be successfully blocked
- Your bank will block your card within any timeframe
- Your bank will honor your block request
- Blocking will prevent fraud on your account
- You will recover lost or stolen funds
Your bank has the sole discretion to approve or deny any block request, for any reason.
3. User Eligibility & Account
3.1 Eligibility
You must be:
- At least 18 years of age
- A resident of India
- Able to enter into a legally binding agreement
- Owning the cards you add to BlockMyCard
3.2 Registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and true information when registering. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
6. Limitation of Liability
6.3 Liability Cap
Except for death, personal injury, or gross negligence, BlockMyCard's total liability to you shall not exceed:
- ₹10,000 in any 12-month period, OR
- The fees you paid to BlockMyCard in that period (if any), whichever is greater
This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Payment & Paid Features
8.5 Taxes
BlockMyCard is currently not registered under GST. All prices shown are final. If GST registration is obtained in future, pricing will be updated and users will be notified in advance.
17. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
17.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
17.2 Dispute Resolution Process
Before filing any claim, you agree to attempt resolution through our Grievance Redressal process (Part III of this document).
17.3 Jurisdiction
You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra for any legal proceedings.

Part II — Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our Refund Guarantee

If you purchase any paid features from BlockMyCard and are not satisfied, we offer a full refund within 7 days of your purchase.
No questions asked. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
Refund Eligibility
You are eligible for a refund if:
- You purchased a paid feature and have not used it (or used it minimally)
- The feature did not work as advertised
- You are unsatisfied with the service quality
- Your refund request is made within 7 days of purchase
- You are the account holder or authorized payment method owner
Refund Process
Step 1: Request a Refund
Email your refund request to support@blockmycard.in
Include:
- Your registered email address and mobile number
- Order/Transaction ID
- Date of purchase
- Reason for refund request
- Your preferred refund method
Step 2: Review
We will review your request within 2 business days and confirm eligibility via email.
Step 3: Processing
If approved, we will initiate the refund within 5 business days.
Step 4: Receipt
Depending on your payment method, the refund will appear in your account:
- Credit/Debit Card: 3-5 business days
- Digital Wallets: 1-3 business days
- Bank Transfer: 2-5 business days
- UPI: 1-2 business days
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds may not be provided if:
- The service was used extensively (more than 7 days of active usage)
- You request a refund more than 7 days after purchase
- You purchased the service knowing it was final sale
- The refund request is due to user error or misunderstanding
- You have already received another refund for the same purchase
Refund for Service Failure
If BlockMyCard's service fails and causes you financial loss or damages, you may request compensation:
- Compensation is capped at your actual documented loss or ₹10,000, whichever is lower
- File a complaint within 30 days of the incident
- Provide documentation of the service failure and resulting loss
- We will investigate and respond within 15 days
Subscription Cancellation
If you have an active paid subscription:
- You can cancel at any time from your account settings
- Cancellation is effective immediately
- No refund for the current billing cycle (unless requested within 7 days)
- You will receive a cancellation confirmation via email
- For monthly subscriptions, you will not be charged for the next cycle
Chargeback Policy
If you dispute a charge through your bank (chargeback):
- We will review the chargeback claim
- We may request evidence of the dispute from your bank
- If the chargeback is upheld against us, we may suspend or terminate your account
- Please contact us first via email before filing a chargeback
Payment Methods Accepted
BlockMyCard accepts payment through multiple gateways:
- Razorpay (Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, Wallets, Bank Transfer)
- Cashfree (Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking)
- Easebuzz (Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, Wallets)
All payments are processed by third-party payment gateways. BlockMyCard does not store full card details.

Part III — Grievance Redressal Policy

1. Introduction
This Grievance Redressal Policy (“Policy”) sets out BlockMyCard's procedure for receiving, acknowledging, investigating, and resolving complaints from users (consumers) under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
BlockMyCard is committed to:
- Acknowledging all complaints within 48 hours
- Investigating complaints fairly and transparently
- Resolving complaints within 30 days
- Providing escalation for unresolved grievances
- Protecting your rights as a consumer
2. What Is a Consumer Grievance?
A complaint qualifies as a consumer grievance if:
- You have purchased or used BlockMyCard services
- You believe BlockMyCard has provided deficient service or caused loss/damage
- The grievance relates to breach of these Terms of Service or Privacy Policy

Within 48 hours of receiving your complaint, we will:
- Acknowledge receipt of your complaint
- Provide you with a complaint ticket number
- Explain the next steps in the resolution process
⏱️ Complaint Resolution
Within 30 days of filing, we will:
- Complete our investigation
- Provide you with a resolution (see Resolution Types below)
- If we cannot resolve, explain why and provide escalation details
Escalation Process
Level 1 (Support Team): Initial complaint handling (0-7 days)
Level 2 (Grievance Officer): If unresolved after 7 days or for complex cases, escalate to Sunil Patel, Grievance Officer
Level 3 (Consumer Commission): If not satisfied after 30 days, you can file with the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission
